IPL (Intense Pulse Light)

Permanent Hair Reduction is for the long term reduction of unwanted body and facial hair.  The Intense Pulse Light works on a growth cycle basis for optimum results. Clients should expect to receive between six and ten treatments spaced four to six weeks apart.

We recommend all clients have a full consultation and test patch undertaken with our IPL therapist.  This consultation is obligation free and incurs no charge.  Our therapist would then also be able to provide a cost estimate.

Botox® and Dysport® treatments

are a way of reducing the appearance of wrinkles by diminishing facial expression lines, such as crow’s-feet and in particular the vertical line between the eyebrows that makes a person look worried.
Botox® and Dysport® work by weakening or paralysing the muscle and hence reducing the crease. A tiny injection is placed in the belly of the muscle and within the following week and for the next 3-4 months, the ability to crease the skin at the frown line is diminished.

Dermal fillers

are used on the face to improve the skin’s appearance and contours.

This is an ideal treatment for those in the forties and fifties as it plumps out wrinkles or unwanted lines and restores a shapelier contour. It is great for use in combination with Botox® and Dysport® to help minimise the appearance of wrinkles. Dermal fillers are also used for those wishing to achieve a more sensuous fuller lip.
Treatment is effected under local anesthesia by a series of placements under the lines using a very fine needle. The procedure usually takes less than 30 minutes and recuperation time is minimal. Most clients will return to their usual activities on the day of treatment without anyone noticing any difference.

Skin rejuvenation

is all about improving your complexion.  It works by using radio frequency and optical light waves to penetrate deep within the skin to rejuvenate it. The Syneron Fotofacial totally rejuvenates the skin resulting in the closing of the large pores, building up collagen and elastin which significantly reduced fine lines and wrinkles by up to 75% because it targets the blemish and draws it to the surface, initially the problem may get worse before getting better.

Skin Tightening

helps reduce the signs of aging by tightening and firming up problem areas.  Skin tightening is achieved by using a piece of equipment called ‘elos’ or Electrical Optical Synergy, which uses Bipolar Radio Frequency and optical energies in a light based therapy.

It stimulates collagen production, simultaneously firming loose skin as it diminishes fine wrinkles. This results in skin becoming tighter, smoother and more elastic.
Some people will see changes in fine lines and wrinkles immediately after treatment due to transient swelling in the treated area. The swelling will abate after 2-5 days and later be replaced by new collagen to give a more permanent result. The effects of the reform from collagen stimulation can continue for up to six months.
